Hi my name is Len March and I am the 81 year old partially sighted secretary of the B.K.A and have been for the last 5 years since its inception. Malcolm Thornton and myself started the BKA in August 2014 in order to share our love of bird keeping with others.

I have been keeping and showing birds for over 50 years and in that time I have been fortunate to spend 12 years as secretary and show secretary of both the Southend Bird Club and Brentwood Club. My great love has been to show my birds but unfortunately my eyesight prevents me from driving and therefore I am unable to show anymore. If anyone keeps coloured canaries and goes to the Birmingham and Cambridge shows I would love to be able to travel with you and be able to exhibit my beautiful canaries.
