Granulated charcoal is an excellent avian digestive aid and feed supplement especially for smaller birds such as finches, canaries, parakeets and similar caged birds.

It aids digestion and helps to fight hyper-acidity, relieves stomach upsets as well as absorbing certain microbes and their toxins in the stomach/gizzard. It can be mixed with feed, sprinkled on the bottom of bird cages or spread in outdoor areas as a feed scratch.
