Members have indicated on more than one occasion that when buying birds of whatever species the bird has died within days of it being brought to their new home.

Stress and diet are  two important matters which should be considered. The seller would have his own ideas of how to feed his birds and if this is not imparted to the buyer the bird may starve to death.

When travelling with your new purchase it is also important to ensure that the bird isn’t overcome with fumes or if used to a minimum temperature it is not subjected to freezing temperatures in the boot of your car.

a supply of seed and water should never be forgotten if you are travelling any distance

We look forward to receiving you own story’s in this regard!

Good luck with your next purchase
